A word about the wood Jatoba that is used as the fretboard wood: The wood has been referred to as Brazilian Cherry but has no relation to any species of Cherry other than that it resembles in color, the appearance of some furniture and some wood flooring. The tree ranges from 100-130 feet tall with a trunk width of 2-4 feet. It is a very hard wood and also very stiff with great resistance to warping. It is considered difficult to work with because of its hardness and density, but, on a positive note, it glues, stains, turns and finishes well and also responds well to steam bending. It is not listed in the CITES appendices.

Returns Policy:

Most items may be returned within 14 days. They must be returned in original condition and with no signs of use. The buyer assumes the responsibility for all shipping costs. Once inspected and tested, refunds will be issued less our shipping costs and a 10% restocking charge. We apologize but shipping costs are not refundable. Shipping costs that we incur in any “free shipping” offer will also be deducted. If anything is missing the restocking charge is increased to 15%.
