About This Listing

The Furch Orange Master’s Choice Orchestra Model with cutaway is a premium all-solid-woods guitar built from high-quality materials. The soundboard is made from Sitka spruce, and the back and sides feature Indian rosewood. The beauty of these tone woods is underscored by numerous appointments – flamed maple body, fingerboard, and head stock binding, padauk purfling and concentric-ring rosette, and flower-shaped mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlays. The body is protected by Furch’s proprietary Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish developed to enhance the resonance qualities of tone woods. Thanks to the combination of premium materials, soundboard voicing, unique finish, and exclusive appointments, Furch Orange Master’s Choice guitar features an attractive look and fine acoustic qualities. It produces a full, balanced, clear sound.

The Furch Orange Master’s Choice model is fitted with the LR Baggs Stage pro Anthem system, which combines a bridge pickup, an internal microphone, and a side-mounted pre amp. The guitar comes with a heavy-duty Hiscox hard shell case.

Sound is the most important consideration for Furch guitars. Their excellent acoustic qualities are the result of state-of-the art technologies, proprietary production processes and precision craftsmanship combined with the use of the best available tone woods. Furch Orange Master’s Choice guitar is no fluke. Hear its exceptional sound quality for yourself with Tonepedia’s app. You can compare its unique sound with other Furch models and also guitars from other manufacturers.

A high precision, dual-action truss rod maintains neck stability and allows for fine adjustment of the neck relief, bilaterally. The truss rod is housed in a highly rigid carbon casing which enables a very smooth and controlled neck relief, ensuring the best playability and enduring optimal setup.

  1. A fully adjustable dual-action truss rod for highly precise adjustment of the neck bow in both the convex and concave directions.
  2. A highly rigid carbon casing that maintains the neck in the set position over a period much longer than is the case with standard neck joint designs and, at the same time, facilitates a gradual bow in the neck, a factor of essential importance for playability.
  3. A casting made of special alloy located inside the neck heel that ensures a stable position of the neck and its angle vis-à-vis the body.

The attractive amber look of the Furch Orange Master’s Choice guitar is underscored by flamed American maple binding, and padauk purfling with a black and white contrasting line.

The soundnhole is adorned by a rosette featuring a solid padauk ring with black and white line.

Furch Orange Master’s Choice guitar has an excellent tuning stability courtesy of Schaller M6 Silver machine heads with polished ebony buttons and a highly precise 1:18 gear ratio.

The fingerboard is adorned with six small flower-shaped white mother-of-pearl front inlays. Bridge pins feature an inlay from the same material.

Furch Orange Master’s Choice guitar comes with LR Baggs Stagepro Anthem pickup with the control panel mounted in the side of the guitar to provide easy access to the battery, and built-in three-band equalizer. The mix control allows blending the sound from the microphone and the undersaddle pickup. Additional tone shaping features include bass and treble controls, phase inversion, a notch filter, and highly efficient feedback suppression.

Maximum protection during transport is provided by a high-rigidity Hiscox case with polyurethane insulating foam that shields the instrument from changes in external climatic conditions.
