Want a fat EL34 type tone that's a little different? This is our Standard Retube Kit for the Super Jet amps. The preamp section uses two ECC83S's with one current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V2.
The power tubes are a premium matched pair of the JJ Electronic EL34 II's. The JJ EL34 II's are great in Ampeg amps because the low mids are stronger making them sound thicker than standard EL34 type tubes and they have a great high end sparkle!
Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
The video below shows both our preamp tube testing and power tube matching procedures here at Eurotubes which are second to none. We may not be the cheapest, but we are arguably the best.
