This is our Standard Retube Kit for the Ampeg Super Jet SJ12T and SJ12R with 6V6S's. It contains an ECC83S for V1, and a current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V2. A nice upgrade from the stock tubes, sweet and warm!
The power tubes are a premium matched pair of the JJ Electronic 6V6S's. These are an amazing tube and the only real 6V6 that can handle up to 500 plate volts. Tighter lows, detailed mids and smooth clipping characteristics. These are a 14 watt tube so the power distortion will set in much earlier.
Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
The video below shows both our preamp tube testing and power tube matching procedures here at Eurotubes which are second to none. We may not be the cheapest, but we are arguably the best.
