Tempro was one of several vintage drum makers from Japan that produced drums in 1960s and 70s in the looks and style of much more expensive American drums like Ludwig, Gretsch, Camco, Slingerland, Pearl and Rogers -- but at a far lower price point.
This is a solid, well-made drum with quality wood shell. Vertical grain hardwood shells. The drum delivers warm, woody tone with resonance and wide tuning range.

Shell exterior, interior and bearing edges are in very clean condition. Exterior sparkle finish is rich, vibrant and even. Wrap seam istight/no lifting or bubbling. No added or non-original holes in the shells.
All chrome hardware is very clean condition with only minor surface wear in areas from age. Drum heads are in excellent playing condition
14 x 5. 8 lugs per side. Original throw off and butt plate. The original internal muffler assembly is included and works perfectly. Newer Aquarian coated batter head, clear resonate head.
