Great sounding Gibson Kalamazoo made Epiphone Cortez. This is structurally the same guitar as the Gibson B-25N which replaced the LG-3 in the early 60's. This guitar's label is coencidentally mislabeled as a Caballero however it has a solid spruce top and X bracing making it a Cortez. The serial number on the label matches the headstock so I am going to say that somebody made an error during final assembly with the label. When I purchased this guitar it had a plastic bridge, headstock crack & a top crack from the top to the bridge which was most certainly the result of the poorly designed plastic bridge. All issues have been professionally fixed and it now wears a beautiful new rosewood bridge with a fixed saddle. Very loud and an incredible fingerpicking guitar as well as an exceptional value due to the issues fixed. The nut width is 1-9/16 but plays very comfortably. As-is
