New Throbak M-69 style pickup rings. These have not been on a guitar. they were purchased lightly aged from Throbak. These are $199 for a set and are among the best on the market.

Another great upgrade for Historics and vintage restorations. ThroBak Butyrate M-69 rings are a ground up reproduction of vintage reference M-69 P.A.F. mounting rings. ThroBak M-69 rings are tooled and molded in Kalamazoo with the same steel mold process as vintage M-69 rings. Throbak M-69 repro rings are available in bone, cream and black Butyrate to cover the widest range of vintage M-69 tints. Tooled with the injection mold gate located in the vintage location ThroBak Butyrate M-69 rings will not break, guaranteed! Molded flat, as is correct for all Gibson M-69 style rings, ThroBak rings will take the contour of the top without heat and will hold their shape after they have been installed on the guitar. Just as with vintage mounting rings, ThroBak M-69 rings are molded of Butyrate to assure the same look, feel and resonance of the vintage M-69 rings. Close attention was paid during the tooling stage to hand duplicate mold anomalies found on the inside and outside of vintage M-69 rings. ThroBak M-69 rings are molded from vintage correct, hand polished steel tooling to duplicate an accurate vintage look.
