Nice
quality vintage 1970s Acoustic 150 Head with a Model 104 guitar cabinet. Both are in about as good as condition as you
will find for a 40+ year old amp. The
spring reverb and tremolo work, both channels function well and
there is a bright switch for each. There
is some scratching, mainly on the reverb knob, but could probably be eliminated
if serviced. The cabinet is loaded with
six 10" Eminence speakers which were made for Acoustic Control Corp., five
are dated to 1972 and one to 1971. Head
and cabinet measure 42" x 24.5" x 11.5" with only the original casters
missing. These vintage 1970s Acoustic Model 104 cabinets sound superb and this
one is no exception. They are
beautifully built, rugged, heavy and well braced. Manufactured and designed in
the USA,
it has a few nicks, some dings, some scuffs, some small tolex dings, nice
grill, handle, corner protectors and feet on the bottom when using it as a
horizontal cabinet. This is the earliest version Model 104 cabinet that predates
the model number strip placed at the top on the grill.
