Guild 2000 M70 USA Custom Shop
From the short lived Guild Custom Shop in Nashville, was a winter NAMM Show piece. Super lightweight semi-hollow body in Daphne Blue with white binding and clear pick guard. DeArmond 2000 pickups, Real Mother of Pearl block inlays and headstock logo. Excellent condition, with original deluxe hardshell case.The guitar suffered extreme finish checking last winter during a trip from California to New York (previous owner). After consulting with Guild and Ron Thorn (Ron was the original owner) of Thorn Custom Guitars () they decided to fix the finish. I can only assume the repair was extremely expensive. Total professional job. I bought the guitar shortly after it was completed.
The guitar is absolutely beautiful and it plays and sounds fantastic.
Alsways willing to trade for a vintage Guild, or maybe the right Fender Stratocaster or Telecaster.
