These Scandinavian guitars are amongst the finest hand built guitars ever to be made, anywhere;

This is a lovely piece, made in the 60's/70's in Finland, therefore of a high quality and also in exceptional condition approaching maybe 60 years of age.

Structurally and cosmetically in good order. A few small dings to the finish - too small to consider repairing - and a few repairs to the varnish also, undertaken professionally - very light restoration.

These guitars were varnished in Nitrocellulose by hand, which is said to enhance the tone and also (through it's vintage years) yields a consistent lacquer checking throughout, evidencing the age yet also providing an attractive and desirable look.

The sound is worthy too - the Engelmann spruce top gives her a great voice.

Recently professionally refurbished and judging by general condition plus the age of the previous strings, I would say this has been dry stored in it's case for the last couple of decades, hence has light use only.

The period hard case - which is included - is probably the original case, hand made in Czechoslovakia from 50's onwards, and is a historic item off beauty in it's own right. Has a timeworn patina, a leather handle and lined with attractive blue felt - there is one small yet obvious area of wear to the interior (described in photo's)

These guitars are regaining popularity hence becoming sought after, seldom seen in this condition;
