Dyed Basswood Telecaster Body
I am thinning out my unfinished project components and this is one of several tele bodies I am listing for sale here. This CNC cut Basswood Body has been wood dyed on front and back. I intended to redo the sides and then apply a clear top coat but never got around to it. This would make someone a great guitar project. No string thru holes so a modern top load bridge will work fine making for a super ez build.
Basswood is an excellent guitar wood providing great tone and sustain without being overly heavy (this body weighs 3lbs6oz.). Most, readily available licensed as well as import necks will fit with no or nominal tweaking required (see pics with Fender licensed rosewood neck and an Asian import maple neck). Neck pocket dimensions (standard telecaster) shown in pics. Sale is for guitar body only. This item is sold ‘as is / as shown’ so make any inquiries prior to purchase.
