Hi,
Up for sale a cool vintage guitar made playable for a lefty. I can't be sure of manufacturer exactly but as per the previous owner knowledge, and some research it was most probably made in Fujigen factory. Awesome vintage pickups (not original but well worth your attention!)
Specs:
Mahogany body, 2 piece with fat flamed maple cap. Beautiful look with the aged finish!
Mahogany neck, ebony fretboard with mother of pearl inlays.
Gold bridge and stoptail original, with "Japan" stamped underneath
Pickups:
Neck - '79 PAF from Yamaha Super Axe SA700
Bridge - 80s USA Dimarzio Super Distortion, with metal braided wire (I read these are quite rare, thus mentioning the details)
2 tone, 2 vol wiring, 3 way toggle switch. Pots original, switch replaced with new one
It sounds stunning, perfect hard rock sound, perfect for blues, not sure if good for metal since it's not my thing :)
Unfortunately there is bit of bow to the neck from bass side (being strung as lefty) , please check photos for reference.
Overall guitar is fully playable, set for 2mm action on bass side, little under 2 on treble side. Truss rod nut is spinning around, however there is no need to adjust it as it plays now. Still, I am mentioning everything I noticed to be honest to the potential buyer.
Case original, looks to have been made for the guitar.
Please ask any questions you might have, I'm happy to provide you any info required before purchase.
