I had this professionally designed and built by a carpenter to be easily disassembled, reassembled and repositioned.
The wheels allow you to roll it back and forth for re-cabling, adding/removing gear and perfectly positioning your monitors in your space. I designed it for my dual purpose studio space so that I could roll it towards the wall during recording a band for more space, then pull it back out when mixing or mastering for optimum monitoring. This is big enough and strong enough to house a good sized mixer and monitors as well. My new space is much smaller so I have to get a much smaller desk now.
Two open 12U slanted racks to the left and right of center position. Great for keeping gear cool to avoid overheating.
