About This Listing
Gretsch Round Badge 6.5 Broadkaster Snare Drum in what looks to be an original blue lacquered finish. This drum is incredibly unique as it shows a unique “duco” finish with a random spray patten as opposed to the normal tri-band pattern with the second color being across the middle. The silver finish looks to be aged and applied the same way as the original blue. The drum does show a bit of overspray on the interior of the shell. Grommet looks to be in good shape and unmolested. Hardware is shown in as found condition. The drum has not been cleaned up in anyway since I acquired it a year or so ago. Edges are in great shape. Hardware shows age/pitting across the board but would clean up well if you’re picky. It never effected the playability so I’ve just enjoyed it as is! 8 rocket lugs appear in good working order and all have rubber spacers between the shell itself and the lugs. The drum looks to have original wires, throw, buttplate, and even the factory broadcaster batter head. The inside of the shell has a small sticker inside that looks as if it would remove easily but displays the original owners name/address. I’ve always left it as I enjoy the history but I’ll leave the call ip to the future owner. I’m more than happy to get any additional photos or answer any questions. This drum is sold as is so please reach out if you have any concerns! If you’re interested in international shipping please reach out for a quote.
