2003 Japanese Epiphone Elitist Les Paul Custom, wine red w/ gold hardware. The headstock shape on the American Elitist look like some kind of pathetic counterfeit. Here is the real deal! A made-in-Japan, for the Japanese market only, Elitest model Les Paul Custom in wine red. This is just an amazing instrument. It is like-new for all intents and purposes. One tiny dimple on the back and as for the rest it is 99.9% of mint. These guitars are absolute top quality. USA electronics. Grover tuners. Imagine the nicest USA Elitest Custom, then imagine a couple of steps above. I have way too many guitars and just bought another. This (and several more) has to go. Hasn't been touched! Has a long neck tenon which only the custom shop USA Gibsons have. 4.4 kilos, rounded 50s profile neck. Nitro finish, American-wound pickups. No issues. Plastic is still over the covers on the back. Hard-shell case is the original Elitest case. The movers scratched the case ever so slightly in one corner, as you can see in the picture. Since then, I move my guitars all myself. Comes with the case keys, original booklet, everything. I'm in the Navy and this guitar was straight from Japan. They're very rare and the quality is unsurpassed. Local pickup would be great, but I'll ship it in a Gibson factory box for $45.
