Jose Ramirez R1 2002
This guitar was made in 2002. Although it was possibly the lowest model in Ramirez’s lineup of that era, it certainly is great sounding instrument, that will give you a taste of “true Spanish” guitar.
Although it doesn’t have any structural problems, its body bears several dents, scratches and abrasions. The most troublesome is quite deep dent located on the soundboard in the area normally covered by player’s arm. Very importantly its neck is straight, frets levelled and playability superb.
This guitar offers great volume and response. Its trebles are super sweet, round yet very clean. Basses are relatively deep, with great deal of overtones. All notes are well balanced, with great note clarity and separation, and with great sustain.
