Vintage Fender Mustang Duo-Sonic Musicmaster pickup initialed by the legendary Abigail “Abby” Ybarra on February 2nd, 1965! Somewhere along its life, tape was added over the windings for protection. I did not attempt to remove it in fear of ruining the pickup. Given the dirty-ness of it, I’d say it’s been there for a very long time. Measures 5.88k on my meter. I had another Abby Mustang pickup from 1965 a while back that rated at 5.85k so there is consistency here.
