The Crimson Red Transparent finish on the multi-bound figured maple top of the carved chambered mahogany body on this 2001 MIK M-72 electric guitar is really in excellent condition for its age; it just shines. This DeArmond-by-Guild Bluesbird-style electric guitar is a highly-sought-after hidden-treasure guitar only made in 2001-2. The solid mahogany neck is bound to a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay. The clear pickguard seems just perfect for this guitar. The tuners have been upgraded to locking Gotohs. These screaming DeArmond USA Gold Tone humbucker pickups are identical to the ones that grace many Guild electric guitars. The sound that flies out of this ‘buckin’ dynamic duo is amply controlled by two volume and two tone (replacement) knobs and pots, and a three-way switch. The neck is straight and smooth, the frets have plenty left on them, and all the electronics work properly.
