1955 National Grand Console Double Neck Lap Steel.
Two eight string necks, although currently set up as 6 strings...one neck tuned to C6, one to Open E.
There are some little adhesive labels on the C6 neck to remind me of the chords! I will remove them prior to sale.
This gorgeous instrument is all original and comes with legs, original case and cord. It's easy to transport and sounds magnificent.
These are the same pickups used on the New Yorker and if you know your steels you know how good they sound. The E neck is pure 1950's twang/rockabilly and the C6 has the ultimate1940's swing/jazzy sound.
Cosmetically it's in very good condition and everything works as it should.
