The AT8646QM shock-mount plate from Audio-Technica gives effective isolation for mounted microphones from impact vibration and mechanical noise that's normally transmitted from the surface. Intended for use with microphones mounted on lecterns, pulpits, conference tables and similar surfaces, with especially seamless compatibility with A-T UniPoint® and ProPoint® gooseneck mics, it may also be used with other lightweight mics as well (all mics sold separately). It employs a sturdy-yet-flexible suspension panel which provides the mechanical isolation. It's fitted with a female XLR3 connector that's designed for use with lightweight plug-in microphones that have male XLR3 outputs.
It's fully compatible with A-T's PRO 49Q and PRO 49QL ProPoint Cardioid Condenser quick-mount double-gooseneck microphones.
