Here's a blast from the past that was ahead of its time to begin with. The baby bass is a fully electric upright bass with dedicated volume and tone controls, full 42" scale wooden neck on a cello-sized, plastic Uvex body making a bass that's light in weight but not necessarily in sound. The tone knob is amazingly dynamic in that when turned down all the way it sounds very wooly and thoompy, and when turned all the way up it takes on a lower fidelity, almost sepia sounding tone. Parked right in the middle or in the neighborhood of the middle is where it sounds very organic and full, retaining the low end and sings on the high end without sounding very microphonic. Included with it is the original gig bag and the original stand, which is a slick design where the endpin on the bass rests on the center part of the stand, making for an easy transition to being mounted or unmounted. Overall it's in excellent shape, especially considering the age, and plays with super low action making for an electric upright dream machine.
