This is a Pre-Owned item which has been used and played. It features lacquer checking across the body, neck and headstock. It also features some very slight marks on the body and one noticeable ding in the top lacquer near the strings. It ships with it's original hard case.
In 2004 in tribute to Townshend's 1968 Gibson SJ200, Gibson introduced the Pete Townshend Signature SJ200. In addition to the Mother of Pearl signature inlay, 150 of these guitars were hand signed by Pete Townshend himself. At guitar superstore we have one of these very exclusive guitars in stock. Much like the regular Gibson SJ200, it is a perfect example of everything ahigh end Jumbo acoustic should be. The solid Sitka Spruce top is augmented by flamed maple back and sides and the neck features mother of Pearl inlays and a Rosewood fretboard. This exclusive guitar is great as an investment but is also a fantastic player, delivering the warm, deep, full bodied tone that we have come to expect from the SJ200.
