The Adams F5 - Handmade American F5

This mandolin has been a special instrument for me. It wasn't my first American made F5 - but it's definitely the most charming, and certainly the loudest! It was made by Johnny Adams in Florida. You can see his website here:

This is a player's mandolin - Johnny's got a bit of a reputation for making boxes that aren't the prettiest but the tone is enormous. And I've put some wear on this one! The good news is that this is, bar none, the best price for the most instrument you'll find on an American-made F5. I was really fortunate to find it when I did, and I hope it gets in the hands of someone else who's looking for a quality instrument but can't cough up the several thousand for most of the American handmade models.
