This is a VOX Mark XII 12-String Electric Guitar. Stamped #233271 on neck plate. Manufactured in the mid 1960's by the EKO company of Italy. The Vox V223 Mark XII guitar also included a vibrato arm, which was a very unusual feature on a twelve string guitar at the time. Plays and sounds very good. Very good sustain with classic 12 string tones and vintage Vox character.

Features: Continental Teardrop Body, Eko Neck (with the double T bar reinforcing channel in addition to an adjustable truss rod), Three Single Coil Pickups ( with individual pole pieces), Vibrato (original Bigsby style bar not included), Padded Cushion (on back), Ebony Finger Board, 22 Nickel-Silver Frets, Volume/Tone/Tone Knobs and 5 Way Switching.

Condition: Body has heavy finish checking. Finish at spot by neck appears to be lifting slightly. Finish chips and indentations at spots to lowermost edge. Headstock has a minor bump. Fret markers at neck edge have been added using what looks like white out. Missing original tremolo bar and bridge cover. Neck looks and feels very nice. Frets show minimal signs of wear for age. Minor finish dimples at spots on neck.
