Frequently Asked Questions
➤ Can Logan Drive be used with guitar modelling software or impulse responses?
Yes, with its high headroom design of up to 25 dB clean gain, Logan Drive works perfectly as a pre-amp pedal in front of IR cab simulators or modelling units.
➤ How does the mid EQ footswitch affect the sound?
The dedicated mid EQ footswitch allows you to activate or bypass the mid EQ section independently, giving you instant control for midrange boosts or cuts, perfect for pushing solos or changing tone on the fly.
➤ What is the purpose of the pre/post gain switch for the mid EQ?
This switch places the mid EQ either before or after the overdrive gain stage. Setting it pre-gain saturates the selected mid frequencies for a gritty, second gain stage effect, while post-gain adds a clean mid boost for volume and presence.
➤ Can I control the mid frequency sweeps live during performance?
Absolutely! The expression pedal input allows smooth, hands-free control of the mid frequency sweep, enabling anything from fast wah-like effects to slow, phasery tone shifts for creative sound design.
➤ Is the Logan Drive suitable for instruments other than guitar?
Yes, thanks to the internal blend control and versatile EQ, Logan Drive excels with bass, synths, drums, and even vocals, making it a truly multi-purpose overdrive solution.
