1981 Fender Stratocaster - International Colors Series - Morocco Red - VERY RARE

Here's a great USA Fender Stratocaster from the 1981 International Color Series.  This series was offered for one year only, and this color is called Morocco Red.  The white pickguard and black pickup covers are standard for this series.

It is in nice condition - mild cosmetic wear from normal use and a few dings here and there, some small areas of discoloration that are typical with this color.

This guitar plays and sounds great with no issues.

Two of the pickups are date-stamped late 1980.  The other is not stamped but is fully original.

The middle pickup has been rewound but is otherwise original.  The pickguard screws do not appear to be original.

The auction includes the original Fender hardshell case pictured. This case is in nice condition with all latches and hinges intact.
