NEW INFO! most likely an 815, "BASSAMP" model. I have had it sitting high and dry since about 2009. Amp just serviced and brought back to life by Carter Vintage Guitars here in Nashville. I did some research out of the AMPEG book, 308291 indicates 1953, Aug., 291 unit that month. Recaps, inspected, cleaned, new handle and AC cord. NOTE!! The Jensen 15" speaker is tired. I have been warned NOT to run a bass thru, it could easily blow. Guitar is OK, as I have done. It is warm, a bit gritty. Surely that classic jazz sound of the day. Check out the case. It has the AMPEG info in two tags. A handwritten note regarding the lower left hand switch, to vary from bass to guitar. Very cool vintage fiber case included. Very quiet.
