About This Listing

Awesome fretless acoustic / electric 5-string bass!! Now discontinued.

The guy I got the bass from in the early 2000s said this bass was previously owned by the virtuoso bassist Richard Bona. The look matched with one of the photos from Mr. Bona's album "Scenes From My Life" (see photos.) The tone also matches what he played in the album when it first came with the phosphor bronze strings. What a cool story and a historic piece!
P.S. The phosphor bronze strings will be included, which might still have some Bona mojo in between.

Now sporting black nylon strings. All original except for the battery box, which got loose over the years. Some tiny minor dings are very difficult to picture. But overall in superb condition considering a 20+ year old workhorse bass. Comes with the original padded gig bag that shows some trace of use but works nicely.

The tone of this very bass with black nylon strings could be heard through the YouTube video attached below. So versatile that you could use it in an acoustic gig, jazz / fusion jam, or even a rock / pop concert.

Please kindly allow 2 days of packing time bcz it is open for local demo / try-out. Please also rest assured the bass will be professionally packed. If you need it in a hurry, please contact in advance. Thank you for your consideration.
