About this listing
Holy cow, it's a Travis Bean TB1000s!Weight (on my scale) is 11 lbs 2 oz.Pickups are original. This guitar was the recipient of a refret last year. The frets that were on this were pretty warn down, so I brought it to Geoff Benge to do the work. Geoff is the only person in Chicago I trust to work on a Travis Bean, and he did absolutely fantastic work. Now this guitar is ready to play for another 50 years! Knobs are not original (look to be contemporary "Gibson speed knobs.")Has a ding in the fretboard on the treble side of the 6th fret. This does not affect play of the instrument.Normal/honest play wear through the instrument.Pots themselves are a little scratchy and could use to either be cleaned or fully replaced at some point.Has a sticker on the rear cavity cover of the Suica Penguin very excited about some fresh rice. I will try to remove this before the sale.Photos of the nut width and width at the 12th fret are in the listing.Note that my measurement tools are just basic ones you can buy anywhere. As such, treat these as an estimate, and know that I won't accept returns due to issues with weight or neck/fretboard width.Comes with a non-original hardshell case (I do not have the original.)
