Simply put this B&H Phoenix is the best new guitar money can buy. If you are looking and likely drooling, then you are familiar with the genius wizards of Tuebingen, Rudy and Willi. Their attention to detail, selection of materials, knowledge of golden era construction is unrivaled in the world of luthiery. This D-28 style guitar sings. Graceful, angelic, balanced, soulful and bold. Sweet, rich and complex tone leaps from the (moon-logged) soundboard. The Brazilian rosewood adding shimmery color and dimensional depth. Just beautifully voiced. And with that immaculate shade-top an absolute stunner to behold.

It is a complex and often convoluted decision process that leads a fanatical guitar lover to let go of something this uncommon and delicious. In this case, it's a mix of cash poorness and electric guitar over-extension. I need to raise a significant chunk of change and I'd rather do it in one shot than piecemeal.
