SHERWOOD Vintage 1954 Archtop Acoustic Guitar
This is an old Sherwood Archtop, made I think by Kay from some research I did. I have had this guitar several years, recorded a few tracks, but for the most part it sits in the case. This was a lefty when I got it, and years back I strung it up right handed when I had decided to keep it. Strap button on like for a Lefty player. No pickguard. Some repair work done at some point in its life at heel. It's hard to tell just looking, but I'd guess the nut was set up left, and is still set that way as I made no changes. That said, although the low E looks a little high in the saddle, the strings, while playing, all feel great, easy to fret, and no fretting out or buzzing with one exception. The little E is probably sitting "slightly" too low, and played open it has a mild after buzz to it, but not when fretting up the board.Very Nice Non original TKL Hard Case included.
