Even guitars without those issues will tune up more accurately and stay in tune for longer with the TruGlide. The grooves in the TruGlide make a smooth rounded path for the strings between the nut and the tuning post keeping the the strings from pulling sideways on the string slots in the nut. The side pull on the string slot is what causes the random tuning and binding issues these guitars have.
