The SV is a single coil pickup that has all the tone, clarity, and responsiveness players demand with a vintage look enthusiasts will love. Utilizing staggered Alnico V pole pieces, the SV provides a more balanced sound for older instruments with a rounder fretboard radius. The tone of the SV is modeled after a 1959 Strat™ pickup, giving players that familiar "quack" and punch. This marriage of vintage design and state of the art electronics gives the SV a much smoother tonal response when played clean or with overdrive.
