RedLine Resophonics R-Body Square Neck Pro Model, Serial No. 145
Description:
This guitar has been built with the traditional classic R-Body size and
shape. The top is made from book-matched Western Red Cedar, which
includes a very tasteful vintage style sunburst finish applied to it.
The back and sides are made from solid book-matched East Indian
Rosewood. The neck is made of Honduras Mahogany and sports a beautiful
Rosewood Fretboard with Flush Frets. The headstock overlay is also made
of Rosewood, to which we have applied our snappy RedLine logo!
This guitar is somewhat unique in that we have only built a few guitars
with this wood species combination (Rosewood/Spruce). This guitar also
includes an internal baffling system inside this guitar, which
compliments our internal structure of the guitar (mentioned below). This
guitar sounds great and is very comfortable and easy to play. We opted
for an "eased edge" on the back of the body instead of binding it, which
eliminates the sharp edge found on most guitars. You will notice the
difference while playing this guitar while sitting down. As with all of
our R-Body style guitars, you will immediately notice plenty of volume,
fantastic tone, and all the sustain you will ever need. Bluegrass,
Newgrass, Very Traditional Bluegrass, this guitar will deliver in all of
these genres, and more!
All in all, this is a very handsome and well built guitar. It sounds
wonderful, and it is easy and comfortable to hold and to play. It just
might be all you are looking for in this type of instrument!
