About This Listing

This is a  brown Mosrite of California Blues Bender model guitar.  This is an extremely rare guitar. Number 0127 of 200 reportedly made by Semi Mosely himself in Bakersfield Ca. This was to be Semi's answer to the Les Paul.

Based in Bakersfield, California from the latter portions of the 1950s to the early vestiges of the 1990s era, Mosrite was an American guitar manufacturing company founded by Semie Mosely in 1956. Known for their innovative design, exceptional-quality of engineering, thinly attenuated, low-fretted and narrow neck profiles, as well as their high output pickups, Mosrite guitars became a staple in the rock and roll and country music circuit. The model being featured in this listing is believed to have been manufactured at some point during the 1970s, devised as a means of industry-wide competition with the widely popular Gibson Les Paul models.

The condition of this product could best be described as "very good to good" with a significant degree of surface and cosmetic wear being visibly apparent throughout the length of the guitar (please refer to each of the pictures accompanying this entry as a visual guide). Due to the rarity of this guitar there is little in the way of other guitars to do comparison with. This particular guitar is also inclusive of a Epiphone carrying case, the condition of which could best be described as functionally ' very good.' Cosmetically "good"
