At the top of the ESP custom line, only for the domestic market, is the Navigator brand, which specializes in making historically accurate versions of classic shapes. The N-LP-CTM is their take on the "custom" model of a famous brand, but made to higher standards in craftsmanship and historical accuracy. Notably, while some companies have switched to lower cost richlite, this has the proper ebony board. For this kind of guitar, for me, that's a must. At the same time, some adjustments to improve playability are also made. For instance, the neck angle is a more relaxed 3 degrees.
I've owned this guitar since 2015, when I bought it on a trip to Tokyo, and have totally babied it since as I moved around the world to the UK and US. Now I'm back in Tokyo more permanently, but my apartment is small and I'd like to downsize.
The full specs are:
Top: Hard Maple
Back: Honduras Mahogany
Neck: Honduras Mahogany
Neck Shape: Thick U
Fingerboard: Ebony
Radius: 305mm
Scale: 624mm
Nut: Bone (43mm)
Frets: 22, Jescar FW47104-NS
Inlay: Pearloid Block
Joint: Set-neck (deep joint)
Tuner: Gotoh SG301-04
Pickup: Seymour Duncan SH-55 set
MSRP: 540,000 JPY (plus tax)
There are light swirl / polishing marks in the finish overall, but no chips/dents/cracks or anything of that sort. In general if you see used Navigators around, they tend to be older (check the tuning pegs) and pretty beat up -- this one is quite the exception! Comes with hard case.
I'm happy to (and assuming I will) ship internationally with this item, and thus will include shipping in the purchase price. This is contingent on the shipping price being a reasonable amount, which should be most countries. Will ship cleaned, setup, and with a fresh set of strings. Please allow 5-7 days for shipping preparation, as it is more time consuming for me to set up in Japanese.
Thanks for looking!
