This module includes features like independent accent levels, a high-powered gain stage, dual input pulse-shaper, and adjustable Filter Q and VC-Q knobs for additional tuning. The HATS808 uses six analog square wave oscillators to create its signature sizzling sound, maintaining the unique metallic character of the original. The original “choke” circuitry is fully implemented but can be disabled if needed. The high-powered gain stage allows for further sound harmonization through distortion and clipping. The dual pulse-shaper circuit ensures consistent sound quality from any pulse source, making the HATS808 an easy and powerful addition to any modular synth setup.
