This is the upgraded heavy-duty edition from Hosa, with all-metal plugs (not the plastic molded kind). This means the snake will last a lifetime, and worst-case it can always be very easily repaired unlike the molded plastic kinds. The molded plastic kinds cannot be repaired, and wear out faster because they use thinner copper wire. This version is far more rugged and will last a lifetime.

These are premade from Hosa, and are 5 meters, or a little over 16ft. Balanced cables automatically reject and cancel out any possible noise or interference picked up over the cable run, so it's smarter to get plenty of length so you'll never be too short.
