Session guitars are hard to find, unless you live in Australia or New Zealand, their initial primary market. I don't know what to call the color of this finish. It's sort of a coppery chocolate or chestnut red. Varies by the light. Very unusual if not unique at this point.
This is a heavy axe, but has the heavy sound to make it worth it. Very nice hot pickups. Slick ebony (I think) fretboard. I particularly like the saddles on the bridge (die-cast, but with the character of bent ones). Metal nut. Big, bold player.
Flaws: The pickguard could be nicer, and there are some chips to the finish on the bottom edge (pictured). And some soul replaced a missing tuner with one that doesn't even pretend to match the nice black set.
Set up, comes with gig bag. You'll never mistake it for another!
