Super rare 1995 Ovation 6774 Folklore. Made in USA in the heyday of Ovation guitars.
Ovation guitars are well know for their electronics and slim necks, giving acoustic guitars a playing feel more close to electric guitars. But they did attempted to attract fingerstyle players once upon a time with their wide-neck folklore models. These guitars have a wider-than-normal 1-7/8" nut width, 2-3/16" saddle string spacing, flatter fingerboard curve and lighter top bracing, giving these guitars a playing feel more akin to classical guitars.
The folklore line was more welcomed by nylon-string players with plug-in needs, so not many steel-string versions were made, and became highly sought-after.
This particular guitar is in great condition. Action is low and easy to play without string buzz. Electronics work great and output strong and clean sound. No wood cracks, just to minor finish cracks by both sides of the bridge which is common to Ovation guitars (due to the finish they used to apply), and a bump by the treble side of the soundhole (which is also common to cut-away Ovation guitars from that age.) OHSC included and is in great condition.
