Are you looking for a very smooth singing tone with less grit and a little earlier power tube breakup? This is our Gold Pin option for Soldano Hot Rod 50 Plus with 5881's. The preamp section uses five Gold Pin ECC83S's with one being a current balanced Gold Pin ECC83S for the phase inverter in V5. A very rich tone!

The power tubes are a premium matched pair of the JJ Electronic 5881's. The JJ 5881's have lots of Jangle and a real solid bottom end, they will lower the output a bit too. These are a 23 watt tube.

Unlike other tube venders who charge for low noise tubes, all our tubes meet rigorous tests for low noise, microphonics and nine additional tests.
