After purchasing this bass from a dealer/ collector in Franklin earlier this year, it struck me how unusual it was. I have never seen another Chaparral Max quite like it, but with the condition being so excellent, it was an easy buy for us.

The green/ teal burst is nothing short of gorgeous and I'm not sure how much weedage it took to put the orange on the upper horn,  but after playing and sitting with the bass for a while now, it's grown on me. The tone of the bass is nice and aggressive- we all know how a set of EMG P/J's perform, so the tone is everything you would expect and if you dial back the treble control, you can still have that nice, round P-Bass tone as well. The satin neck is fast and comfortable and the profile is not too meaty and feels superb in my medium-sized mitts. Rounding out the bass is gold hardware, boomerang inlays, and an Ebony fretboard.

The package comes with the bass and original hardshell case. You can be a working bassist in anything from a wedding band to a death metal outfit and this Hamer will more than do the job for you, all the while making you the star of the stage.

As always, we thank you for your support, friendship and for being a part of this great brotherhood of musicians!
