Fender Precision Bass Custom 1973 Mocha

This is such a good bass but the 70s were not kind to it. Original finish to the neck and body then everything else is changed. P/J set up and we JUST installed a brand new Dimarzio set up. Modern repro hardware and set up to play and the bass sounds GREAT. Has countersunk straplocks etc etc etc. Only thing to point out is some work of a nincompoop of a luthier from years past. This moron overtightened the neck bolts and shows 2 small micro splits that were repaired a million years ago. No doubt this same moron hammered in oversized tang frets without checking the slot and cause another micro split that traveled down the grain line. This is also fixed a million years ago and is in the pics. This is a players bass. GB 8.2 lbs.
