Welcome to the 2019 Wilco Loft Reverb sale!
It's time again for some spring cleaning here at the Wilco Loft. Please check out all our listings. There's some fun stuff this year!
Here we have a Jolana Tornado hollow body jazz guitar from 1963.
Manufactured in Czechoslovakia, this was Jolana's first forray into the Gibson ES-335 copy. The models to follow were the Jolana Alexandra, Jolana Special, Jolana Rubin and Jolana Studio.
The Jolana Tornado was one of the best guitars made in the Soviet era communist countries at the time. Local musicians really enjoyed them because the were able to do many different sound variations with a single model. This guitar is all original with some great looking age and finish checking, some bumps, bruises, buckle rash and heavy wear on the top bout.
Pickups and electronics function as they should. It has a killer trem bar. There is some great and deep road wear but no splits or cracks in this guitar. It has a C shaped neck, a cool Trapeze style bridge, and load of 'vibe'.
Ships in a cheap soft gig bag to protect it inside the shipping box.
This guitar will come with a signed certificate of authenticity showing that yes, this belonged to Jeff Tweedy. Buyer pays shipping. Please ask questions.
