The Tech 21 Double Drive 3X Distortion solves the problem of choosing between Class A and Class A/B amp tones by bringing both together in the same pedal with some added bells and whistles. Built on a cascading design that allows the tone and character of each mode to influence the other according to how they're stacked, the hot, searing tone is accompanied by a separate 10dB clean boost for laying even harder into solos.
