- This version 4.4 is the latest known operating system firmware issued by Akai for S1000.
- Included will be 2 new EPROM chips, recently manufactured to ensure data integrity well past our natural lifetime.
The S1000 itself is not for sale; only the EPROM upgrade chips will be supplied.
- This upgrade set is also compatible with the S1000KB and S1000PB series samplers.
- Before purchasing, Please verify which firmware is your S1000 has installed: Turn on the S1000 and look at the screen, you will see what OS revision you have listed before the text flashes past to tell you how many MWORDS (ram) is installed.
