Vintage 1961 Gibson GA-100 tube amplifier == Designed as a bass amp, with approximately 35 watts into a 1x12 Jensen Alnico speaker cabinet, it also is a great guitar amp == tube complement is (1) 6EU7, (2) 6BD6, (2) 6FM8 pre-amp tubes, GZ34 rectifier, OC2 AS voltage regulator, and (2) 6L6 power tubes == Transformers date early 1961 == This is a phenomenal sounding bass amp -- while 35 watts is not enough to hang on its own with a loud modern drummer, it would be great miked into your PA -- and I believe this would be an exceptional recording amp for bass == AND this is also a great acoustic electric amp == Excellent condition, some cigarette scorch marks on top, but tweed in great shape, intact original handle, original speaker cable and plug (power cord replaced with 3 prong for safety), intact interior paper label, the Gibson logo on front is, unfortunately, broken as shown == the circuit includes switchable compression, this is not heavy compression, but smooths out the signal nicely == Again, a versatile amp that is one of the best sounding bass amps I've heard, giving a very pianistic, dynamic, and detailed bass sound == I haven't tried it yet, but I understand these take pedals very well == We will ship this item in 2 boxes so the head can be packed correctly == We ship worldwide
