This is a custom enclosure combining two Earthquaker effects: the Dunes overdrive and Tentacle analog octave. The effects can be used together or by themselves (they have separate switches). An effect-order switch lets you pick which effect comes first when both are engaged. Neither effect has been modified in any way; they are the exact circuits as made by Earthquaker Devices. I bought both pedals in their original forms and just had the circuits plopped into one single housing, which was built and painted by Mark Leahey at Make Sounds Loudly. (If you look closely at the picture of the inside, you can see both circuits still have original/official Earthhquaker Devices insignia, etc.)

Together these two effects can do a wide range of things, from classic gnarly overdrive/distortion (think "Purple Haze" solo) to absolutely WTF ringmod-type sounds. One cool thing about combining these effects is that the Dunes very straightforwardly covers your overdrive needs, but adding the Tentacle creates all sorts of unusual sounds beyond that.

The unit will not run on batteries and requires two standard 9 volt DC power supplies with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. Each effect has its own power requirement, which was done to reduce noise. Power supply not included.
