About This Listing

Up for sale is a great guitar at an intermediate price point, these are one of the best Japanese classical guitars on the market.  They have great volume and quality of tone. Playability is superb with fretwork equal to the best concert guitars.  This model, JM15C was built by Tsuji Wataru, master luthiers of Asturias since 1981. This model has been renamed Custom after John Mills broke connection with Asturias. However, the two models, JM15 and custom, are not exactly the same. I personally preferred an earlier model, JM15.

This guitar is one of the best sounding guitars I ever played under $3000.  The JM15C has a solid Cedar top, solid rosewood back and sides, and ebony fingerboard.  It has incredible volume and is super responsive. Its basses are deep but very clean with plenty overtones.  Trebles are super clear but sweet and colorful at the same time.  Despite its very high volume note separation of this guitar is simply superb.

This guitar is in excellent condition even with its age. Some minor scratches barely noticeable. Just some cloudy area and a few cloudy spots, typical for aged guitar. Come with a hardshell case.
