• This upgrade version 1.06 is the final firmware update issued by Yamaha for the RM-50.
• Included will be 1 new EPROM chip to complete the upgrade.

TheRM-50 itself is not for sale. Only the EPROM update chip will be supplied here.

• Before purchasing, check which firmware your RM-50 is running: With the RM-50 off, press and hold [PLAY] + [MACRO PLAY] + [SOUND] buttons and turn the RM-50 on. If you happen to already have version 1.06 installed, you will see the following:
•  "RM50 << TEST ENTRY >>" "VER 1.06     92-07-08"
• This upgrade version 05 is serves as a supplemental release, intended to iron out any remaining kinks affecting general stability, bugs and improve performance within the firmware code.
